Rosacea

We all want clear skin, but nature has a way of sabotaging us over time with frustrating imperfections. The Palomar RejuveLux™ process is the culmination of years of research, using advanced laser and pulsed light.

The Palomar RejuveLux™ process can remove blemishes, sunspots, visible veins and other imperfections with just a few quick and easy treatments.

Pigmented Lesions (sometimes called sunspots, age spots or liver spots) are sun-induced skin injuries that appear as dark brown circles, known as Solar Lentigines. There can also be diffuse browning of the skin, known as Actinic Bronzing.

Vascular Lesions are superficial blue, red or purple veins under the surface of the skin. Some common types include rosacea (facial inflammation) and spider veins (tiny vessels that appear near the surface of the face).

Rejuvenate your skin with the RejuveLux™ process!

Rosacea FAQs
What happens during a treatment session?
After preparing your skin, the technician will use an active hand-held device on your skin, letting it work for three to six minutes. During this phase you may feel a tingling sensation. The technician will then apply a neutralizing hand-held device.

What should I expect after a treatment?
Pigmented lesions will become slightly darker after the treatment but will disappear within 10 to 14 days. Usually visible veins will immediately turn greyish or white with some redness in the treated area. This will become less marked within 10 to 14 days. Three to four days after the treatment, it is normal for your skin to peel while it rejuvenates itself. Your Nuëeva technician will recommend a sun block and hydrating cream.

What is the difference between laser and intense pulsed-light treatments?
Intense pulsed-light systems and lasers are very similar and remove hair in basically the same way. However, the Palomar Intense Pulsed Light System uses new state of the art technology that removes hair up to ten times faster than lasers.
